How Booking Works

The steps a customer goes through on your booking page.

A customer on your booking page goes through four steps:

  1. Pick an offering from everything you've published.
  2. Pick a date on the calendar.
  3. Pick a variant (duration and price), filtered to what their customer group is allowed to see.
  4. Pick a timeslot, an available start time on that date.

Picking a timeslot holds it temporarily while the customer finishes checkout. Held slots aren't offered to anyone else, and they expire on their own if the customer doesn't complete the order. The cart shows a countdown to the earliest hold expiring.

At checkout, guests fill in name, email and phone, while logged-in customers just confirm the terms. If anything in the cart needs paying, the customer is sent to Stripe (iDEAL). If the whole order is free, it's confirmed immediately. A confirmation email follows either way.
