- A Customer is a named contact of your organisation, optionally linked to a login account so they can book without re-entering their details and see their booking history.
- A Guest is someone who books without an account, giving just a name, email and phone number captured at checkout.
Both show up in your list of orders and reservations either way. Only Customers can be added to a Customer group, so group-restricted variants and pricing are never available to a guest.
